Kara J. Alley is the founder of Two Birds Travel, a boutique travel-design studio dedicated to creating beautifully tailored journeys for travelers who want exceptional experiences without the overwhelm of planning. She combines industry expertise with an intuitive sense for what matters most to her clients — comfort, meaning, seamless logistics, and the freedom to fully enjoy the moment.

Kara’s approach is rooted in thoughtful curation. She believes travel should feel inspiring, calm, and deeply personal, whether it’s a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, a long-awaited couples’ retreat, or a family adventure filled with discovery. Her clients appreciate her clarity, organization, and genuine care — qualities that allow them to relax knowing every detail is handled with intention.

Founder of Everkind Travel 

My love for travel began during a transformational exchange year to Germany my Junior year of high school. My worldview exploded when I went from living in a small town of 750 people in East Texas to visiting multiple countries and living abroad. During this time, my host family shared their home, language and culture with me - all with the utmost patience and lots of laughter. Their kindness impacts me to this day, and we still consider ourselves ’family’. This is the kind of depth and connection that I want to share with others through Everkind Travel. Not just checking things off a list or collecting stamps in a passport but building real bonds that change you for the better and make the world a kinder, more connected place.

As of January 2026, my husband and I have embarked on full-time slow travel, currently based in Panama! In every place we visit, we’ll be making connections and finding the best sights and happenings to bring you the tried-and-true experiences in each destination. For the places we haven't personally explored (yet), rest assured that each itinerary is thoroughly researched and backed by trusted experts and in-destination partners who know those destinations inside and out, so every dream trip can be a reality.
